Thank you for your blog!!!! My 6 month old son has sagittal cranio and had an endoscopic strip craniectomy at 2 months old. Well his head has not grown since the surgery and his soft spot they created has started to bulge. My google search lead me to your blog! I was just wondering how long it took for you to hear back from Dr. Fearon after you initially contacted him via email. I can't get my current surgeon to acknowledge any problem with the small head/bulging soft spot so I thought I would try for a second opinion.

Thanks again for your wonderful blog and I'm glad your cute little guy appears to be doing well! You sound like a wonderful mom!

Shelley, I am sorry you are having concerns. Dr. Fearon normally takes around 3 days to get back to me. I have emailed him a lot! :) I hope you get some answers soon.

Thank you for sharing your journey. Your son is beautiful. I am in socal and so far have been seen once by UCLA. I know we need to get a second opinion, but I do not think our insurance will cover us in another state. You mentioned that Dr. Genecov is sometimes in San Diego? Do you know what hospital he is affiliated with there? Have you heard any reviews the cranio folks at loma Linda? Thank you again for sharing so much information. It has been so helpful!

Dr. Genecov is not affiliated with any hospitals here. He just comes in once a year or so for conferences and he offered to follow-up at those times when he was in SD. I'm sorry, I don't know of anyone that used Loma Linda. Have you tried the forums at craniokids.org?
