Bulging Soft Spot

Friday night when I took off Jesse's helmet for his bath, I noticed the 2 soft spots he has on either side of his head were bulging. I called the CFS and his fellow told me to leave the helmet off and she would contact the CFS. Saturday morning she called back and said that the CFS said to leave the helmet off and to call Cranial Tech on Monday for an adjustment. Since Jesse was acting normally, they felt it was being caused by the helmet being too tight. But she also told me to call his NS to make an appointment.

After having said all that, she then me that if it was the helmet I should seen an improvement in the bulging.

Well, I've seen no improvement at all. If anything it has gotten worse. It was really noticeable when he was having his bath. Here are some photos. You can see the bulge on the left side of the photo that looks like a lump. That is his soft spot. It's like that on both sides.

Also, today Jesse has been grabbing the back of his head a lot. His head also seems more tender than normal. Like when he just slightly bumps it he starts crying, which he never use to do.

And wouldn't you know it... only 48 hours of not having the helmet on and his head shape is starting to revert again.
